This carbon fiber Motobecane electric bicycle is the result of the custom setups we can provide to meet your needs. This customer wanted the lightest setup possible to go with his very light carbon fiber frame Motobecane. A special order Samsung 36V 10.5AH battery and a smaller motor that still produces 750+ watts of peak power provided the optimum solution. Total weight of this bike is only 35lbs. The battery weighs less than 4lbs and is very compact to fit in the bag you see with the controller and plenty of room left over. Here is what the customer has to say about it:
“Hey Doug, well, I took the bike out for a 20 mi maiden voyage and never even took the pedal assist out of level 1 (~90W). I used barely a couple volts and ended at 40.1. The Controller barely got warm and the motor remained at ambient temperature. What an AWESOME RIDE! This is one incredible machine . The bike handles as lithely as a road bike but just the added 90W (level 1) made those 5% climbs easy. It’s light, agile, and very fast!
Anyway, I’m very pleased with the result. I’m going to be putting a lot of miles on this thing. I can’t wait to do some long, steep rides with it. It was clearly worth getting this kit from you.”
