Mike from Sacramento models his new high-powered 48V Electric Folding Dahon Electric Bike built by Electric Bike Solutions, LLC. This is the smaller geared motor, which packs quite a punch on a smaller wheel. I recommend the high-end geared motor at48V for 26″ and 700c wheels, but we have lots of very happy customers with 20″ and 24″ geared motor wheels at 48V. It gets you well into the 20’s mph and has lots of hill climbing torque.
This bike also fits quite easily in the trunk of any car. 36V with the smaller geared motor is still a great option at any wheel size, but for added punch 48V is the answer.
